A well-established, respected reseller in the automotive sector is on the hunt for a new team member to work remotely.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join their team in the position of Automotive Product Manager.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the business management of a product and its commercial success, the ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills and an appreciation of data usage.

Key Responsibilities:
" Managing the entire product life cycle from introduction to deletion from the range, interacting and overseeing other departments where their input is required.
" Using various available sources (e.g. Autopart, Autocat, TecDoc, Headline, Car Parc VIO data, Customer feedback, and Competitor websites) research and identify potential range additions.
" Identify gaps in our range and add products, either existing or new products.
" Updating on a continual basis the electronic cataloguing via Xchecker, ensuring information is accurate and provided on time to all relevant departments and systems, Inc. Webshop, Autocat and TecDoc.
" Determine new product pricing by utilizing market research data; sales costs; anticipating volume by contacting key customers for forward demand.
" Communicating with suppliers to determine new part numbers are identified correctly and any pricing issues are resolved before purchasing.
" Managing the introduction of new part numbers, ensuring all customers and departments are informed on-time and accurately.
" Analyse data to evaluate the market, products, pricing and competitor activity to ensure a strong foothold in the market.
" Support customers and sales staff with product information via leaflets, technical bulletins and website information.
" Build strong relationships internally but also with our customer base to drive the business forward.
" Maintenance of data on Xchecker and Autopart.
" Good technical understanding of the product range with a view to assisting in technical calls.
" A good understanding of Manufacturers' parts systems with a view to assisting in product cataloguing and technical calls.

- Remote Working
- Salary £30k-£40k per annum depending upon experience
- Working hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with 30 min lunch
- 22 days annual leave per year
