An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking and successful firm of Chartered Accountants, based in the Grimsby area, they have practices across the Lincolnshire/Humber Region. Known for their great reputation and clients and employee retention! Through growth, they are looking for a bookkeeper to join their friendly team, ideally someone from a practice background.

Bookkeeper Job Role:
Maintaining financial records, preparing tax returns, and supporting the financial health of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Quick Books & Sage & Xero – Inputting, matching, and reconciling
• Month end
• Year end
• Preparation of VAT Returns.
• Preparation of CIS Returns
• Client Contact – Contacting Clients to request information and respond to queries
• Experience with MTD - Helping Clients become MTD ready would be ideal but not essential.
• Managing your own portfolio of clients and maintaining strong working relationships.

The ideal candidate will ideally come from a practice background; however, this is not essential.
Salary: Up to £25k dependent on experience
