CNC TURNER – SIEMENS control

We are looking for a CNC Programmer Turner to join our busy client based in Sheffield S9. The company’s client base is wide-ranging as is the extent of our manufacturing capability and in recognition of this, we would provide full support and back-up during the initial period of introduction to the company’s Preparation Department.

The Role:
•You must have experience in CNC Turning and be efficient to Programme the machines.
•Knowledge of Siemens Shop turn would be an advantage but not essential.
• Experienced in fast paced manufacturing environments.
• Must be able to Set, Operate the machines
• Setting appropriate machine tools for bespoke components
• Running machine cycles for full efficiency
• Producing batch work and one-off components
• Have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Must be a proactive team player, with a positive can do attitude.
• Preferably from an OEM or Subcontract Precision Engineering background
