An amazing opportunity has become available to join a growing, modern, fashion brand.
They are now looking for a knowledgeable product compliance officer to work within their technical team based at Head office near Leeds to support the rapid growth of the business.

It will be a fast-paced position, you will need to thrive from multi-tasking and consider yourself highly motivated and able to stay calm under creative pressure. A keen interest in fashion is going to be crucial.
The ideal candidate will have a wide knowledge & understanding of product compliance within the fashion & textile industry understanding the European and US markets.

Role Profile:
• Manage day to day product compliance ensuring products comply with customers code of conduct and legal requirements relating to the fashion & textile industry
• Work with internal team of garment technicians to ensure product compliance standards are continually met.
• Must have a developed understanding of product testing reports/ standards & manuals for efficient sign offs.
• Liaise with supply base to ensure correct testing and certificates are submitted in line with CP requirements.
• Responsible for promoting and implementing quality standards and driving continuous improvement within this function
• Feeding back to manager, peers & technologists with recommendations for improvements of compliance procedures
• Ensuring compliance with product safety and reach legalisation: assessing risk, advising on relevant testing: recording and resolving non-compliance effectively and efficiently
