Internal Sales Coordinator / Full Time
Are you a confident, outgoing person and have experience working with softwood or sheet materials looking for a new challenge?
Through growth a well-established, family ran local merchants are looking to appoint an internal sales coordinator to join their friendly team base in the S20 area of Sheffield. We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality, with the confidence to hit the phones and start building relationships with new and existing clients. You will be switched on with excellent IT skills, be able to pick things up quickly and use to working at a fast pace.
o Assist in achieving monthly & yearly budget objectives, via increased sales & profit via merchant network
o To support the External Sales team with the development of new merchant business
o To liaise directly with customers and external sales team in order to quote, process orders & coordinate stock & delivery
o To assist with any matters relating to stock management
o Generate quotes and process orders received direct from merchant customers & national sales team
o Following up on quotes generated and prompt response to incoming calls.
o Check & query customer last price paid to ensure margin is maintained
o Communicate and pass on all material increases in line with merchant price list
o Assist with any stock requirements and the resolution of stock issues
o Account management - Ability to build and develop relationships with customers
o Excellent communicator with an outgoing personality
o Smart and presentable
o Self motivated & flexible
o Ability to work as part of a successful team
Products and IT:
o A good understanding of softwood and sheet materials
o Willing to learn about and promote new product initiatives
o Good IT literacy skills and enthusiasm to develop these areas further
o Use of branch CRM system to manage tasks, quotes and log pro-activity
