• Several years and expert knowledge in Web Design.
• Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop and UX principles.
• A good understanding of HTML, CSS and SASS/SCSS syntax fundamentals. To code in these languages would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio and working with CMS.
• Excellent design skills
• Flair for creative graphics
• Proficient at timekeeping and delivering BAU and projects to set deadlines.
• Be able to manage and mentor two web designers

My client is looking for a technical, creative, and friendly person to join a brilliant Design Team for an ever-changing service sector business, this will be a fast-paced, interesting role with a forward-thinking business.


The role:
• To assist the Web Design Manager and support the wider teams to facilitate day-to-day design and production of the Company’s marketing activities across all websites aligning with email and social campaigns.
• Take a brief and turn it into a UI Design concept. Listening to feedback from key stakeholders and making adjustments.
• To brief the web designers on bringing your design to life to a strict and fast-paced deadline.
• Liaise & collaborate with the internal Development team to add functionality.
• The websites must enhance and reflect the company brand guidelines and inspire loyalty and ROI.
• Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing UI / UX and accessibility standards.
• Liaise & collaborate with internal Development team to add functionality to your UI designs.
• Continually learn and keep up to date with the latest UI / web design trends and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects & BAU, ensuring deliverability to a high spec for the deadline.
• Collecting and analysing data on website usage to improve performance through Hotjar and Google Analytics.
• To manage and delegate tasks via Jira in fortnightly sprint releases and Sprint reviews.
• Responding to website bugs and working with the team to fix them quickly.
• Deliver and execute the company’s Web Roadmap strategy.
• Attend the trading meetings and deliver website performance metrics.
