Job Description –
The challenge you’ve been waiting for. Our client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and hardworking to join their extremely proactive agency who dedicate themselves to helping a range of clients in the property sector.
As the Lettings Negotiator/Administrator, you will be responsible for liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors. This will involve referencing and credit checks, making sure that the tenant and landlords needs will match, all while building rapport with ALL parties. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to grow the lettings portfolio by working from the current data base and on your own initiative.
Daily Duties:
• Deal with incoming and outgoing calls and property enquiries for lettings
• Carry out viewings when required hence driving will be essential.
• Dealing with landlords and contractors.
• Negotiate offers for Lettings properties.
• Carry out referencing for lettings properties.
• Complete move ins for lettings properties.
• Be computer literate and able to learn systems quickly.
• Be able to work on their own initiative.
• Handling incoming and outgoing calls
• Dealing with property enquirings for viewings and booking people in
• Handling enquries through spareroom/zoopla/rightmove
• Doing viewings for properties
• Referencing and credit checks and paperwork/applications/tenancies for tenant move in’s and then putting all info on Acquaint
• Dealing with maintenance jobs that come through the phone
• Chasing maintenance team on jobs
• Checking all gas and elec certs are valid and booking them in if not and when due
• Chasing/collecting previous rent from ex tenants and also liasing with Tracy.
• Rent arrears - chasing tenants that are behind and doing payment plans
• Carrying out inspections
• And any other daily activities needed, such as speaking to tenants or landlords, helping other colleagues.
