Full time Machine Operator needed for Manufacturing business in Glossop SK13
Salary slightly under £24K - Monday to Thursday 6am to 4.30pm - FRIDAY OFF!
Responsible for effectively and efficiently setting and running assigned machines – ideally be able to
• Read drawings.
• Be mechanically minded.
• Have ideally worked in engineering or manufacturing.
It’s a complex machine BUT training will be given to a stable, steady individual who has not moved around and looking for a quality organisation to form a long-term career. You will be dealing with any preventative maintenance of the machine and ensuring safety, environment and quality always remain a priority! Reporting on all daily outputs and ensuring paperwork is handed in on time and escalate any concerns.
We are looking for someone with the following:
1. Appropriate experience to support this role
2. Experience of a manufacturing/engineering environment essential.
3. Pneumatics fault finding experience
4. Mechanical machine repair experience
5. Basic Health & Safety understanding
6. IT Literate with experience of operating computer operated machines.
7. Able to work to demanding deadlines.
8. Well organised, able to plan.
9. Good attention to detail.
10. Logical thinker with the ability to solve problems and work out solutions.
11. Good communicator.
12. Be a GOOD Team player.
13. Have the ability to read drawings
14. Have the ability to set up & programme machines
