The ideal candidate:
· Commercially minded, very hands-on and thorough
· Knowledge of the Automotive industry is not required however would be advantageous
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
. Experience in using Xero and other accountancy software
· Qualified or QBE with strong management accounts experience in a similar role
· Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels
· Ability to make recommendations and drive improvements
· Driven, proactive and diligent individual

About the job
The role:
· Run all daily accounting processes, of sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash posting, daily banking and all general ledger entries
· Bank postings and reconciliations
· Weekly forecasting, P&L, Budget management and identifying any trends or anomalies
· Payroll preparation and wage journals
· Preparation of VAT returns
· Monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
· Liaising with external Accountants for year-end preparation and as well as other services
· Implement new processes and procedures
