A fast-growing fashion retailer brand are currently are looking to bring in a talented and ambitious Management Accountant. As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for preparation of accurate timely monthly and annual financial statements. This exciting hands-on role will help in delivering a first-class service to the business at a time when growth and excellence is a priority. You must be able to handle numerous briefs and requests, all with varying degrees of priority and deadline constraints; must be unflappable and able to multi-task. You must have a ‘can do’ mindset where you are prepared to see a job through to its completion and within the stated deadline.


Main Duties & Overall Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reports
• Perform day-to-day accounting duties, including overseeing the upkeep of all the primary ledgers and cash books.
• Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
• Managing other members of the Finance Team
• Producing Monthly Forecasting reports
• Working with senior management to produce Year End accounts
• Analysis of monthly accounts
• Liaising with the audit team and other external stakeholders
• Assisting non-financial stakeholders
• Supporting the budget process
• Control of the balance sheet reconciliation process
• Understanding and challenging the cost base
• Evaluate commercial performance metrics
