Our client a successful firm of accountants based in Braintree are actively looking to appoint a Part Time HR Generalist. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across all levels of the business will be essential as the role will see you engaging with managers. This is a diverse and wide-ranging role, seeing you executing the recruitment strategy, advising on employee engagement and retention, and taking responsibility for the HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:
•             Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
•             Providing customer service to Practice employees.
•             Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
•             Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
•             Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, liaising with recruitment agencies, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
•             Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
•             Maintain calendars for HR related activities
•             Assist with performance management procedures.
•             Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
•             Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
•             Monitor apprenticeships and liaise with external apprenticeship officer.
•             Record and monitor employee CPD hours.
•             Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
•             Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
•             Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
•             Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
•             Providing clerical and administrative support to the Partners.

Hours 25 – 30 hours per week (to be worked over 5 days)
Salary £30k pro rata ( 20k on 25 hours )
