An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Renewable energy company as Solar PV Operations Manager. They are experiencing a period of rapid growth and to meet the current demand, they are looking to expand their senior team by bringing on someone who has experience of leading operations with regard to renewable energy installations. Working mainly on domestic/commercial Solar projects you will be given a brilliant opportunity to autonomously lead the Solar Division of this company and play an integral part in driving the company’s growth.


The role:
• Develop PV projects from the award of contract to system installation to operation and maintenance
• Organise the day-to-day operations of Solar PV installations.
• Management of the office and site-based teams.
• Ensure that all installations are compliant and up to standard.
• Ensure that installations are aligned with budget and timescales
• Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the installations
• Manages budgets
• Oversee appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring receivables for jobs
• Maintain relationships with key clients and suppliers
• Produce site survey reports and feasibility studies
• Manage construction with responsibility for Health & Safety compliance
• Ensure installation documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
• Minimise our exposure and risk on installations
• Facilitate team and client meetings effectively
• Resolve and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
