The role
• Bookkeeping of day-to-day financial transactions.
• Management of payments, ensuring supplier terms are met
• Produce rental demands
• Credit control including management of agreements to pay
• Bank and nominal reconciliation/consolidation
• Produce/manage VAT records
• Management of utility accounts and payments
• Prepare payrolls and pension submissions.
• Overall management of financial trends within the business (cost saving analysis)
• Compliance management with applicable laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate

• Proven experience in bookkeeping.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Prior experience in the construction or property letting industry is desirable.
• Strong ability to use initiative and time management
• Willingness to learn new processes and work with other team members in other departments
• AAT qualified or part qualified Ideally

Bookkeeper wanted for a Modern, friendly family run Property business in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing every element of the company's finances and thus the position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
