OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO VISIT VARIOUS SITES TO DISCUSS WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OPTIONS – they have called the job role a ‘company representative working for the social value team’ The company is based in DONCASTER but the area covered is approximately around 100 miles!

This role is to achieve environmental targets, which will have a positive impact on the planet. You will be responsible for promoting the company to a varied audience across the country to increase awareness and customer engagement! You will have demonstrable experience in either stakeholder management or liaison with the public and be confident in customer facing with the Client and other relevant and interested stakeholders.

The ideal candidate:

• You will be confident in communicating with stakeholders across the business and value chain.
• Already have some understanding of global sustainability objectives
• Be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• High level of organisation to be able to manage various workloads.
• Be comfortable representing the business outside of the office in various settings.
• As community engagement is a fundamental part of delivering social value, holding a full driving license is essential for the role

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Head of Sustainability
• you will be responsible for planning, carrying out, and reporting on environmental and social value activities with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Working closely with clients
• Monitoring the delivery of our social and environmental commitments
• Setting up and attending social value events.
• Working alongside the marketing team to ensure we effectively communicate our sustainability achievements.
• Creating and rolling out staff training applicable to social sustainability.
• Engaging with educational settings to teach them about the industry.
• Working alongside the human resources department to host employee wellbeing events.
• Working alongside the Business Development team to support social value delivery in tender submissions.
• Confidently work alongside and present to our clients.

The role will be based in our Head Office in Doncaster with the opportunity for hybrid working on completion of training.
