The right candidate will have-
• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Knowledge of NHS pensions would be desirable
• At least 3 years post qualification experience within the healthcare accounting sector
• Effective communication skills, both written and in-person, with experience in attending and contributing to client meetings.
• Evidence of a commitment to own continuous professional development and ensuring technical knowledge is current and relevant.
• Demonstrates ambition and determination to support the Partners in business development activities and other strategic initiatives relative to the department.
• The ability to manage your own time and that of others to meet deadlines and deliver an effective service to clients.

About the job

Your key duties will include-
• Review and finalisation of partnership and sole trader accounts
• Review and finalisation of Limited Company accounts
• Tax computations (partnership and corporate)
• Capital allowance claims
• Personal tax returns
• Partners’ individual personal expenses claims
• Supervision and development of trainees
• Completion of detailed commentaries on accounts
• Completion of NHS pensions annual certificates of pensionable profits and relating estimates Communication with clients
