Our client is a values-led creative marketing agency and are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their friendly team.
They’re looking for someone ready to manage a friendly and skilled team working towards the same ambition: to support their clients who want to make a difference to people's lives through marketing.
The Marketing Communications Team Manager is a key player in the senior management team. With overall responsibility for the efficient working of the team of account executives, account Managers, senior account managers and account directors, you will have vision and the ability to look strategically at how the team can develop, particularly around digital marketing and social media marketing, contributing directly to the success of the business as a whole.
Core Responsibilities
Team management
• Build and manage the Marcomms team including line management responsibilities and developing and ensuring training opportunities.
• Managing workflow across the Marcomms team, allocating resources based on skills and capacity, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Project/account management
• Scope, develop, lead and execute marketing strategies, research and campaigns with the support of the wider team and departments.
• Work across a range of marketing and communications projects, including multi-channel marketing campaigns, branding, social media management, research, digital campaigns, video and animation.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining relationship management for key clients and supporting the wider team to do the same.
• Budget and internal time management across large-scale projects and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Corporate/cross-company
• Playing a key role in ensuring marketing services are delivered to high quality.
• Supporting and developing efficient systems and processes.
• Contributing to the company’s growth targets and increasing the company profile.
• Tracking, evaluation and analysis of project budgets to increase efficiency.
Business development/growth
• Responsible for the development of the clients Marcomms services offer.
• Supporting and maximising client relationship opportunities and highlighting them to the Business development team.
• Project scoping and pitching including requirements gathering, producing briefs/specifications and supporting the Business development team to develop competitive proposals.
